ATV Ride – Saturday, October 8th
Saturday October 8th at Beavertail Hill east of Missoula going up to Whitetail Pass area on the South side of the interstate.
It will be somewhat of an exploring ride up in that area. I have been up there a couple times and there is alot of area to ride! It should be around 40 miles or so and we could also go over to the north side of the interstate and ride some more if anybody is interested.
We will be camping at the Beavertail Hill State Park on Friday and Saturday nights if anyone is interested. There will be food, fun, laughter and Can-Am jokes involved!!!
Details:
Go 26 miles east on the interstate to exit #130 which is called Beavertail Road (very close ride!). You can park right off the exit on the right by the railroad tracks if you want or go under the freeway to the pond on the North side which has alot of parking and is not as visible from the freeway.
We will try to leave for the ride at 9AM so we can spend alot of time in the hills. It is an easy ride on mostly roads and you will want to bring a lunch and drinks. The length should be about 40 miles and we could also ride another easy 40 on the North side of the freeway if time allows! The area is called Whitetail Pass and should be fun to explore!
The temp for next Saturday is supposed to be around 54 degrees so bring some warm clothes. I hope that if you have the camping rigs that you will join us for either Friday or Saturday night or both at Beavertail Hill State Park right off the exit to the right. They are open unitl Oct 30th.
Again the date is Saturday October 8th and we will leave from the parking area right off the exit at approx 9AM.
Call Roger at 829-1649 if you have any questions or e-mail me at rogertulberg_58@msn.com.
If you get a chance let me know if you are coming, it should be a fun ride and fun camping if you can!!!!
Could be one of the last rides of the year!!!

Welcome and Climb on Board!
We held the first Mack Days in the fall of 2002 to help correct an imbalance in the Flathead Lake trout fishery caused by the continually increasing population of lake trout. Mack Days represents a new approach to fisheries management, one that that strives to directly involve the angling public in shaping the fish community. The success of the events continues to grow, and we commend the angler’s for their part in this success. So far, the levels of lake trout being harvested are not sufficient to significantly reduce the lake trout population in the lake. So it is important to continue to build these events and maintain them in the future. Thank you for your help and participation in Mack Days and have fun exploring our website to learn more about the contest and the lake.
